Pastor Coffey

Pastor Bill Coffey has been preaching since 1970.  He was a youth pastor for several years at Fountain Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennesee.  In 1979 Dr. Frank Hamrick, president of Positive Action For Christ, a fundamental youth organization in Rocky Mount, NC asked him to come and head up their Lay Leadership Training Division.  Bill accepted the position and functioned in that capacity and then as Staff Evangelist for Positive Action until 1989 when he accepted the pastorate at Westview Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.  He has been at Westview for 20 years and continues to enjoy a fruitful ministry.  He loves his people and has a strong desire to see them grounded in God's Word and growing in the likeness of Christ.

Sheila, his wife of 43 years was his high school sweetheart.  They were married in 1966.  She is a wonderful help meet and the joy of his life.  The Lord blessed them with two precious children, Lori and Aaron.  They both love and serve the Lord with their spouses.  Lori and Jeremy live in Rocky Mount and are faithful at Westview.  Aaron and Stephanie, with their daughter Ella and son Asher, travel the country in full time evangelism.  Pastor Bill says, "our children and grandchildren are a tremendous blessing for which we will ever be grateful to the Lord."

Pastor Martin

Pastor Andy and his wife Elizabeth came to Westview in June of 2007.  They have been involved in various aspects of youth work since graduating from Bob Jones University in 2000.  Pastor Andy oversees the children's ministry as well as leading the music ministry.  He and Elizabeth both have a passion for teens and a desire to see God work in their lives.  They desire to see teenagers come to know Christ and to "grow in the grace and knowledge" (2 Peter 3:18) of Him.
